Bergerac (TV series)

Bergerac ( Original title: Bergerac) is a detective series that was produced from 1981 to 1991 by the BBC in 1981 and aired for the first time in the UK. The German premiere took place in 1985 and 1986, on East German television on RTL, there under the original title. It was last broadcast in 1995 on VOX.

The British Channel Island of Jersey is the scene of the action and was also the location. The main role of the police officer Jim Bergerac was played by John Nettles.

Content

Jim Bergerac is a police officer with the rank of Detective Sergeant who works with his partner, Chief Inspector Crozier in the foreign office of Jersey.
