Berit Kristensen

Berit Kristensen ( born August 2, 1983 in Sakskøbing ) is a former Danish handball player.

Career

Kristensen began in 1989, the handball matches in Sakskøbing and graduated in 1997 Nykøbing on. Two years later the backcourt player moved to Viborg HK, in which she gave in September 2002 her debut in the highest Danish league. The VKM they won the 2004 Danish Cup and the EHF Cup. From 2004 she ran on for Randers HK. With Randers she won the 2010 EHF Cup and the 2012 Danish championship. After Kristensen had to contend with multiple injuries, she decided to end her career in the summer of 2013.

Kristensen played 68 international matches for the Danish national team, in which they could achieve 88 hits. With Denmark took part in the European Championship for the first time in 2010. At the Olympic Games in 2012, Kristensen was a member of the Danish squad that finished ninth.
