Bermejo Department, Chaco

The department Bermejo is in the far eastern province of Chaco in the north- western Argentina and is one of 25 administrative units in the province.

It is bordered on the northwest by the Department of Libertador General San Martín, in the northeast of the province of Formosa, on the southeast by Paraguay and Corrientes Province and on the southwest by the Departamento Primero de Mayo.

The capital of the department Bermejo 's La Leonesa. It is located 100 kilometers from the provincial capital Resistencia away.
