Bermuda Dunes is a census -designated place in Riverside County in the U.S. state of California with 7282 inhabitants (as of 2010 census ). The village lies east of Palm Springs in Indio and 37 km.
Formerly called Bermuda Dunes myoma. The settlement was developed in 1962 by Ernie Dunlevie and Ray Ryan. Among other celebrities also Clark Gable owned a home in Bermuda Dunes.
The municipality is part of the Bermuda Dunes Airport.
Geography
Bermuda Dunes is located in central Riverside County in the U.S. state of California. The town is bordered on the west by Palm Desert, La Quinta and in the south on the east and north of Indio. On the northern city limits Interstate 10 leads along.
The town has 7282 inhabitants ( 2010) and covers an area of 7.630 km ², which completely comprised of land area; The population density is therefore 954.4 people per square kilometer. The center is located at an altitude of 29 m.
The name derives from the " Bermuda Dunes Country Club", which was opened in 1962 and previously hosted the Bob Hope Desert Classic golf tournament. There are still ten more golf clubs within a radius of 8 km, including Sun City Palm Desert. To Bermuda Dunes is owned by the Bermuda Dunes Airport, the airport of Palm Springs.

Climate
