Bernard Bonnin

Bernard Bonnin (actually Herman Bonnin, born September 8, 1939 in Himamaylan, Negros Occidental, Visayas, † 21 November, 2009 Quezon ) was a Filipino actor.

Life

Bonnin gained national notoriety through the film Palos, where he some kind of Filipino James Bond, according to a pulp novel by Virgilio and Nestor Redondo, showed. In the television series after this film, which was produced in 2008, he held a minor role. Bonnin, the pretty boy of the 60s was called, played in about 170 films in four decades, including in Gagamba, Ako ang sa Lalagot Hininga Mon, Codename: Bomba, Target: Captain karate and in his first film Ay Pepita. He also starred in the Western comedy The Arizona Kid.

Bonnin was married twice; the beauty queen and TV host Charlene Gonzalez and the actor Richard Bonnin are two of his children.
