Bernard I, Duke of Saxony

Bernhard I (* 950, † February 9, 1011 in Corvey ) from the family of Bill Unger Duke was in Saxony. He was the son and successor of Hermann Billung. Bernhard was buried in the church of St. Michaelis in Lüneburg.

Progeny

Bernhard I was married to Hildegard von Stade for about 990 († October 3, 1011 ), a daughter of Count Henry I the Bald of Stade. She was also buried in the St. Michaelis Church. Bernhard and Hildegard had at least five children:
