Bernd Hoss

Bernd Hoss ( born June 19, 1939 in Neckar Oberhausen) is a German football coach.

Hoss completed his coach training at the Sports University of Cologne under Hennes Weisweiler, which he completed in 1966. As a coach of FK Pirmasens he led the team to second place in the 2nd Bundesliga Süd 1974/75, which meant qualification to the relegation games to 1 Bundesliga. After a 4-4 draw in Pirmasens Bayer Uerdingen succeeded in the second leg, a 6-0 victory, thus Uerdingen rose.

Only in 1986 could Hoss Berlin ascend with blue and white 90 in the Bundesliga. But success there left him denied his team had already risen again after one year from the 2nd Bundesliga. After another short engagement at SC Freiburg, Hoss retired from coaching.
