Bernd Tauber

Bernd Tauber ( born May 7, 1950 in Göppingen ) is a German film, television and theater actor.

Life and career

Bernd Tauber grew up as the youngest child of a Bohemian glass cutter and a Berlin-based translator on in Göppingen. His acting training Tauber graduated from 1970 to 1972 at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Stuttgart. Since his achievements were outstanding, his intermediate examination has been recognized as a final exam. After a brief tenure at the State Theater in Kassel he was from January to August 1973 as the first German who received a six-month scholarship at the Teatr Laboratorium in Jerzy Grotowski in Wroclaw (Breslau). Other theater engagements and tours throughout Germany, Austria and Switzerland followed.

A wider audience, he was in 1976 known as baker Werner Wild in Baker's Bread. At far as the eye (1980 ), he was involved with his own songs. He celebrated great success in 1981 with his role in the film Das Boot. He also became famous for his role as Benno Zimmermann in the early episodes ( 1-156 ) of the ARD produced soap opera Linde Road ( 1985-1988). Also for many other well-known television productions stood Bernd Tauber front of the camera, so he joined inter alia several times in the television series Tatort, The Commissioner or Police 110.

Besides his work as an actor Tauber contributes to radio plays and writes word playful, naughty or critical music lyrics. With Conrad Haas, a former member of the group Steinwolke in the formation he steps on the caretaker, with whom he also produced CDs and going on tour.
