Bernd Weidenmann

Bernd Man Willow ( born January 22, 1945 in Tuttlingen ) is Emeritus Professor of Educational Psychology at the University of the Federal Armed Forces Munich.

Career

After graduation in 1964, he studied psychology at the University of Freiburg, where he received his diploma in 1969. He received his Ph.D. at the end of the second degree in 1978 in education at the University of Munich - theme "Teachers fear." Weidenmann habilitated in 1988 at the University of Augsburg on the theme " Mental processes in the understanding of images." Since 2010 Weidenmann is retired. Man Willow is married and has a daughter since 1983.

Services

From 1988 to 2010 Bernd Weidenmann has worked as a university professor of Educational Psychology at the University of the Federal Armed Forces in Munich. Substantive work focus was in DFG and EU research projects on which he primarily investigated learning with pictures and new media. In addition, he has become known as an expert in adult education for train-the- trainer. In addition, he was Managing Director of the "Institute for scientific teaching methods J.-U. Martens " in Munich from 1969 to 1973 and chief editor for programs in psychology and education in the publishing Urban and Schwarzenberg, Munich from 1978 until 1982.
