Bernhard Britz

Bernhard Rudolf Britz ( born March 27, 1906 in Skänninge, † May 31 1935 in Floda ) was a Swedish racing driver.

Ten times Bernhard Britz won a national cycling title. Twice, in 1930 and 1933, he became Swedish champion in the road race, eight times in the time trial. In 1933 he also won the most important Swedish road race around Lake Mälaren. 1932 started Britz at the Olympic Games in Los Angeles and won each bronze in the road race and in the team time trial ( with Arne Berg and Sven Höglund ).

1935 accident Bernhard Britz killed in a bike race when he collided with a truck.
