Bernhard Hoff

Bernhard Hoff ( born January 10, 1959 in Wolfen ) is a German track and field athlete and Olympian, who - starting for the GDR - in the 1970s and 1980s was a successful sprinter.

Place 1 200 m with a European record ( 20.59 s ) and 4 x 400 m relay, 2nd place 4 x 100 m relay, 3rd place 100 m,

Bernhard Hoff studied Industrial Electronics and worked as a technologist at the Deutsche Reichsbahn. After the end of the GDR, he was a clerk in a computer systems house in Stavenhagen. Bernhard Hoff competed for the SC Chemie Halle and trained together with Eugen Ray and Jörg Pfeifer Dietmar Falgowski. In its competition time, he was 1.76 m tall and weighed 70 kg.
