Bernhard Krüger

Bernhard Krüger ( * November 26, 1904, † 1989) was during the Second World War as an SS -Sturmbannführer of the Head of Section VI F 4a in the Reich Security Main Office. This department of the Security Service was also responsible for passport and document fraud. As part of Operation Bernhard pound and dollar bills were forged by the SD on a larger scale. This money counterfeiting operation received its name from Krüger's first name. Kruger was a party member; after the end of the war he lived in Hamburg.
