Bernhard von Spanheim

Bernard of Spanheim (* 1176 or 1181; † January 4, 1256 in international market ) originally came from the Rhine-Frankish family of the Spannheimer and was one of the most important dukes of Carinthia. His parents were Hermann II and Agnes of Austria.

Life and work

Bernard of Spanheim (also Sponheim ) was erected in 1202 as successor to his brother Ulrich II of Spanheim Duke of Carinthia.
