Bertrand Grospellier

Bertrand " ElkY" Grospellier (born 8 February 1981) is a French former professional e- sports and current poker pro.

Before beginning his poker career Bertrand Grospellier played StarCraft professional. His biggest success was the second place at the World Cyber ​​Games 2001. The following year he was fourth, fifth in 2003. He is the only Frenchman who has participated in South Korea as a player of the AMD Dream Team to the professional StarCraft leagues.

Poker

Grospellier took part in the World Series of Poker in 2005 and 2006 in part. A first moderate success in poker succeeded Grospellier, when he won the PokerStars Pro - Gamer Challenge on January 13, 2005. His first big success was the 2nd place in the European Poker Tour in Copenhagen on 20 January 2007. Earnings amounted to 309,000 euros.
