Bess Flowers

Bess Flowers ( November 23, 1898 in Sherman, Texas, † July 28, 1984 in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, California ) was an American film actress who became known for numerous extras roles notoriety.

Life

As a 24 -year-old Flowers began her film career with the 1923 released movie Hollywood. From then on, she worked extensively on other film projects, so they already starred in seven films alone in 1926. Overall, they played with in her career of 41 years in over 700 films, including five films were awarded the Oscar for best film. Thus, it still holds the record of having played in most films that have won the Oscar for best film.

Due to their respective small walk-on role but it was not mentioned in many movies in the credits. 1964 Flowers played 65 years in her last film Lend me your man. 20 years later, on July 28, 1984 she passed away at the age of 85 years. So they played in their active time on average, with a new film every three weeks.
