Bestseller (company)

Bestsellers is a Danish fashion retail company based in the Danish town of Brande and one of Europe's largest clothing companies.

History

Founded in 1975 by Troels Bestsellers Holch Povlsen. Initially, the clothing company focused on women's fashion, 1986, it expanded its range to include children's fashion and in 1988 finally to men's clothing. Bestseller employs 13,900 staff, of which 3,300 ( as at 31 July 2012) in Denmark. Sales for the year 2011/2012 amounted to 2.446 billion euros.
