Career

Mattek -Sands began playing at the age of five years of tennis. Your preferred coating is the hard court. Since 2009 she has been on the Fed Cup team in the U.S..

Your best ever placements in the WTA world rankings they achieved in 2011 - in a single rank 30 and doubles with Rank 11 Overall, they won so far 12 doubles titles on the WTA Tour, and five singles and three doubles titles on the ITF Women's Circuit. In 2012 she won the Mixed Competition of the Australian Open and thus their first title at a Grand Slam tournament.

2011/2012

Ins Tennis 2011 launched Mattek-Sands with a success at the Hopman Cup. Together with John Isner she managed a 2-1 win over the Belgian team. On February 13, she won her ninth WTA title in doubles. On the side of Meghann Shaughnessy won the final at the tournament in Paris against Russian Vera Dushevina pairing / Ekaterina Makarova 6-4, 6-2. Track number ten then followed in May 2012 at a tournament in Brussels on the side of the Indian double specialist Sania Mirza.

2013

At the very first tournament of the new year in Brisbane Mattek- Sands and Mirza were successful again. In February, followed in Dubai doubles title number twelve.

Personal

29 November 2008 Bethanie Mattek married in Naples, Florida, the insurance manager Justin Sands and now bears the double name.

Mattek -Sands is known to dress for their unusual nature.
