Bettborn (Moselle)

Born bed is a commune of 430 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Moselle in the Lorraine region. It belongs to the district Sarrebourg and Canton Fénétrange.

Geography

Born bed is about eight kilometers northwest of Sarrebourg on the east bank of the Saar at an altitude 232-322 m above sea level. The municipality covers 6.57 km ².

History

In the Thirty Years' War Born bed was destroyed in 1766 it came to France, from 1871 to 1918 to the German Empire since 1919 and back to France.
