Better Off Ted - The Chaos AG is an American sitcom produced by 20th Century Fox Television. The series was first broadcast on 18 March 2009 on ABC.
On 15 May 2009 announced Michael Ausiello, a well-known reporter in the television series, in his blog for Entertainment Weekly, the ABC series despite poor rates of good reviews and contrary to expectations, the press renew and give a second season commissioned. This was confirmed by the sender network during the Upfronts on May 18, 2009.
In Germany, the series is shown since 19 August 2010 Comedy Central Germany German premiere.
On May 13, 2010 ABC announced that Better Off Ted will receive no third season.
Action
The plot of the satirical office comedy revolves around Ted, the head of Research and Development ( Research and Development) at Veridian Dynamics. Veridian Dynamics is a ruthless multi -national corporations, the profit of any morality goes. Ted is a single father of a seven year old daughter named Rose. In company he is manager of two research scientists Lem and Phil, and the Produkttesterin Linda, for whom he feels romantic feelings. His boss is Veronica, a emotions and unscrupulous woman with whom he once had an affair. After the company has frozen one of his scientists for testing purposes cryogenically, Ted begins the objectives and the morality of the company to question.
During the show, Ted breaks the fourth wall several times and speaks directly to the audience, to tell of his life and comment on the events of the mission partly cynical.
All episodes include a commercial for Veridian Dynamics, which is the theme of each episode, such as food or family. The commercials have partly contradictory statements and is presented oversubscribed.
Cast and Characters
Ted Crisp, played by Jay Harrington, is the successful but conscientious Head of Research and Development at Veridian Dynamics. He is a single father to his daughter Rose.
Veronica Palmer, played by Portia de Rossi, Ted's is superior. She is emotionless and devoid of conscience, willing to do anything that helps you or the company 's advantage. Although she and Ted once had an affair, she seems to feel for him no more feelings.
Linda Zwordling, played by Andrea Anders, is Produkttesterin at Veridian. She seems to want a relationship with Ted, which is why they often! " No office affair " rule is frustrated by Ted. At the end of the second season Ted and Linda kiss in Ted's office, after they have been, due to a rumor that they would sleep together, " broke up ."
Phil and Lem, played by Jonathan Slavin and Malcolm Barrett, the two brilliant scientists in Ted's department are.
