Betty Davis

Betty Davis ( born July 26, 1945 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, native Betty Mabry ) is an American singer.

Career

She stood in front of Miles Davis in 1967 and married him in September 1968. In the one year of their marriage she put Miles Davis upside down and introduced him to the music of Jimi Hendrix and Sly Stone. This experience led to Miles Davis ' Bitches Brew. Betty Davis could thus be referred to as the initiator of the merger. " They Say I'm Different " was recorded in the legendary list Wire The Wire 's " 100 Records That Set The World On Fire (While No One Was Listening ) ".

In 1973, she released her self- named after her debut album, which not only impressed by the lyrics (Anti Love Song ) and the intensity of the radio, but also through the list of musicians involved:
