Betty Thomas

Betty Thomas ( born July 27, 1948 in St. Louis, Missouri, as Betty Thomas Nienhauser ) is an American actress, film producer and director.

Thomas graduated in 1969 from Ohio University, then moved to Chicago where she was a member of the theater troupe The Second City. As a film actress, she made ​​her debut in 1976 in the film Tunnel Vision, where she starred alongside Chevy Chase and John Candy. For her role in the television series Hill Street Blues in 1985 she was nominated for an Emmy Award.
