Betzenberg

The Betz mountain is a 285 meter high mountain in Kaiserslautern. It rises about 50 meters over the city and gives the district its name to the same name. He is best known as the namesake for the Fritz -Walter -Stadion ( formerly Betz Mountain Stadium, colloquially Betze ).

The Betz mountain lies just south of the main station of Kaiserslautern and the main railway axis Ludwigshafen- Saarbrücken. The south end of the Betz mountain passes in the Palatinate Forest.
