Beuchat

Beuchat International, usually known only by the name Beuchat, was founded in 1934 and is today a world-renowned developers and manufacturers of underwater equipment.

History

In 1934, the descendant of a Swiss watchmaker Georges Beuchat in Marseille, the company Beuchat SA He was even diving pioneer and in 1948 was also co-founder of the Confédération Mondiale Français Activités of Subaquatiques ( it later emerged CMAS international).

In 1953, Beuchat invented a diving suit and 1967 fins that were for decades as a reference for all diving equipment manufacturer. Even with various other products Beuchat coined the history of underwater equipment significantly.

Georges Beuchat sold the company in 1982 Álvarez de Toledo, and these sold the company in 2002 to the Margnat family.
