Beverage Testing Institute

The American Beverage Testing Institute (BTI ) published Reviews of wines, beers and spirits. The reviews appear on the website, in a newsletter every two months and in the printed magazine tastings. The reviews also be acquired by prestigious (specialist) journals.

The institute was founded in 1981 in Chicago. It sets itself the right to conduct fair and impartial tests and publish the results for consumers.

Assessment system

All tasters are experienced professionals who are well-known retailers and restaurateurs working or as a writer. In addition, they must have very good knowledge of at verköstigenden beverage category and be familiar with the blind tasting.
