Beverly Baker Fleitz

Beverly Baker Fleitz ( born March 13, 1930 in Bakersfield, California ) is a former American tennis player.

Career

At the age of eleven years Berverly, coached by her father Frank Baker began to play on public tennis courts.

Throughout her career, she played only six times with at Grand Slam tournaments outside the United States, reaching third place with their best finish in the world rankings. 1955 Baker reached the Wimbledon Championships at the finals, where they but Louise Brough defeated in straight sets 5:7, 6:8.
