Bhairon Singh Shekhawat

Bhairon Singh Shekhawat ( born October 23, 1923 in Sikar, † 15 May 2010 Jaipur ) was an Indian politician (BJP ). He was the 11th Vice President of India.

Shekhawat was a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party, a leading member of the National Democratic Alliance.

He was Chief Minister of Rajasthan from 1977 to 1980, from 1990 to 1992 and 1993 to 1998.

From 19 August 2002 to 21 July 2007, he was vice president under APJ Abdul Kalam.
