Bhante
Bhante is a word from the language of the original texts of Buddhism, the Pali and means lord or Reverend.
It serves as ehrerbietende form of address for Buddhist monks, the monks. Occasionally it is also against the Buddha himself used, but which is usually addressed as bhadante, a replacement word for the lack of form of address of bhagavant " Sublime ".
