Bianca Urbanke

Bianca Urbanke - Roesicke ( born September 17, 1967 in Ludwigsfelde ) is a former German handball player.

The handball player of the year in 1993 and 1994, spent most of her athletic career at the Frankfurter HC. As of 1999, the right backcourt player ran for two years on the Spanish club Ferrobus Mislata. Then, the left-hander was active again for the now playing in the 2nd Bundesliga Frankfurter HC. In 2002 she went to the FHC and again in the 1st Bundesliga. After winning the championship in 2004, she ended her career. In March 2005, Urbanke - Roesicke gave her comeback at second division Thüringer HC, which they supported until the end of the season.

Bianca Urbanke - Roesicke played 203 international matches for the German national team, in which they scored 775 hits. With the national team she won 1993 World Cup and 1994 European silver medalist. They also took part in the 1992 Olympic Games and 1996 Olympic Games.

Bianca Urbanke - Roesicke is married to the Handball coach Dietmar Roesicke. Together they have two children.
