Biathlon World Championships 1966

The 7th Biathlon World Championships took place in 1966 in the German Garmisch -Partenkirchen. The relay race 4 x 7.5 km was added to the official world championship program. The team traveled the GDR before the start of the competitions from again after she had been forbidden by the police to carry the GDR state emblem on the competition clothing.
