Bibrocathol is a bismuthaltiger drug from the group of antiseptics. It is for use in the eye area, such as an inflammation of the eyelid margins, with seborrhea or settlement of staphylococci in the eye area, are used. Bibrocathol subject in Germany in pharmacies and is marketed under the trade name Posiformin ® as an eye ointment with 2 % active ingredient. Formerly it was known as Noviform ® with 2, 3 and 5 % active ingredient on the market.
