The Japanese concept of The Big Four (Japanese四大 法律 事务所/ yondai hōritsu Jimusho or even四大/ yondai ) is colloquially used to refer to the four Japanese firms with the most lawyers. The comparison is carried out according to the number of directly competing with each other firms.
