Bigha

Bigha ( Nepali: बिघा, Bigha ) is a unit of area (1962 ) found primarily in Nepal and parts of India to switch to the metric system application. The size of a bighas fluctuated widely and is specified with 1500-6771 square meters.

In Nepal, a Bigha is approximately 2603.7 square meters. Officially, the majority of the land is measured in Bigha ( in the plains) or in Ropani ( in the mountains ). The metric system is in the state as well as no application.
