Fauna and Flora

Due to its relative isolation of the atoll has a diverse, largely untouched flora and fauna. Among other things grow here screw pines (Pandanus tectorius ), jewelery grass ( lepturus repens ), coconut (Cocos nucifera), Punarnava ( Boerhavia repens ), Pisonia ( Pisonia grandis), purslane ( Portulaca lutea ) and serrated flowers such as eg Scaevola bushes.
