Bikutsi

Bikutsi, also Bikud -si Bikudsi, Bikut -si, is a music and dance form that is listed in the South of Cameroon. It is assigned to the ethnic group of the Beti, who lives mainly in the regions of Centre and South of the country. The game is played Bikutsi MVET both xylophones ( mendzan ) as well as slit drums ( minkul ) and on the bar zither. The "modern" version, which is about since the 1980s can be heard in the discos, is played with electric guitars, bass, drums, keyboards and vocals.

Famous musicians and music groups are Messi Martin, Sally Nyolo, Anne -Marie Nzié, Lady Ponce, Patrice Emery Akondo, K - Tino, Les Veterans and Les Tetes Brulées.
