Bill Amend

William JC "Bill" Amend III ( born September 20, 1962 in Northampton ( Massachusetts)) is an American comic book artist.

Even at the high school times recorded Amend for the school newspaper. He then went on Amherst College and a doctorate in physics. Nevertheless, he decided to become a cartoonist. On 10 April 1988, the first episode of FoxTrot, a comic strip about the Fox family arrived with their three teenage children. By 2006, the strip appeared in more than 1,000 newspapers daily, from then only on Sundays. Also, in many countries outside the United States, the comic is printed in newspapers.

Amend lives with his wife and two children in Kansas City. He is an avid World of Warcraft player.
