Bill Aucoin

Bill Aucoin (actually: William Martin Aucoin, * December 29, 1943, † June 28, 2010 in Aventura, Florida) was an American manager and discoverer and longtime manager of the group Kiss.

Career

Bill Aucoin grew up in Ayer, Massachusetts, where his father ran a restaurant. He studied business administration at Northeastern University in Boston. During this time he worked for several film companies, including as a cameraman. He applied for " WGBH television" in Boston, where he worked until his accounts and the production team for two transmission formats, Julia Childs ' French chef and Folk Music USA belonged.

After graduating, he went to New York City and was an employee at "Tele Tape Productions ". His task was to create commercials for well-known New York advertising agencies, giving him a CLIO Award for ClipMagic Fabrics earned ( for the company Singer) 1969.

Kiss

In the summer of 1973, the musicians of Kiss repeatedly invited representatives of record companies and other managers to their concerts, in order to come to a deal like that.
