Bill Huizenga

William P. "Bill" Huizenga ( born January 31, 1969 in Zeeland, Ottawa County, Michigan) is an American politician. Since 2011 he represents the state of Michigan in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Career

Bill Huizenga visited until 1987, the Holland Christian High School and then studied until 1991 at Calvin College in Grand Rapids. He then worked until 1996 in the real estate industry. Between 1996 and 2002 he worked on the staff of Congressman Pete Hoekstra. As this is also Huizenga member of the Republican Party.

Between 2003 and 2008, Huizenga sat as an MP in the House of Representatives from Michigan. In the congressional elections of 2010 he was in the third electoral district of Michigan in the U.S. House of Representatives in Washington DC chosen, where he became the successor of Hoekstra on January 3, 2011.
