Bill McDermott earned his Master in Business Administration from the JL Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University in the U.S. state of Illinois and successfully participated in the Executive Development Program of the University of Pennsylvania 's Wharton Graduate School of Management part. After he had already established his own company during school and study, McDermott began his career at Xerox Corporation, where he spent 17 years and rose to the youngest corporate officer and division manager of the company's history.
