Bill Mollison

Bruce Charles ' Bill ' Mollison ( born 1928 in Tasmania, Australia ) holds, together with David Holmgren, as the "father of permaculture '. In 1978 he founded the Institute of Permaculture ( Permaculture Institute), which is dedicated to the dissemination of permaculture in education, research and practical implementation. In 1981 he was awarded the Right Livelihood Award.
