Bill Paxton

William " Bill" Paxton ( born May 17, 1955 in Fort Worth, Texas) is an American actor and director.

Life and achievements

Bill Paxton was born in Fort Worth Texas, the son of Mary Lou and John Lane Paxton. Paxton took already 18 years to Los Angeles, where he worked as a decorator and scenery help. Two years later he was in the 1975 film Crazy Mama ( Crazy Mama ) for the first time on camera. Shortly afterwards, he moved to New York where he studied acting at the Stella Adler ( Studio Of Acting in NYC). During his studies, he found numerous smaller engagements in TV productions, also wrote and produced short films. In 1984, he played a small supporting role in James Cameron's "Terminator". Through his friendship to Cameron Paxton was born in 1986 on the role of Private Hudson in the movie " Aliens - The Return". The real breakthrough, however, he succeeded only in 1992 with the film " One False Move". 1994 Paxton was windy as a car salesman in - to see " True Lies True Lies ", 1995 as an astronaut in "Apollo 13" on the side of Tom Hanks and Kevin Bacon.
