Bill Rancic
William " Bill" Rancic ( born May 16, 1971 in Chicago, Illinois, USA) is an American entrepreneur and the first winner of the TV show The Apprentice, The Apprentice to German.
Life
Bill Rancic grew up in the Chicago suburb of Orland Park and is on Croatian- Irish descent. He attended Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois, and studied law. He later founded his own company, the Cigars around the world and successfully climbed into the cigar trade.
The Apprentice
In the summer of 2004 Rancic reached the final of the first season of The Apprentice and could ultimately prevail in the final against Kwame Jackson. He was the first candidate to a job interview was live on TV and got a one year contract in the Trump Organization. Rancic could choose between two projects that he should now lead. He opted for the construction management of the Trump Towers in Chicago.
Alongside Rancic appeared as a juror in four seasons of The Apprentice and wrote three nonfiction.
