Bill van Dijk

Bill van Dijk (aka: Edsger Willem van Dijk, born December 22, 1947 in Rotterdam) is a Dutch singer and musical actor.

After his theater training, he was known as a musical actor and starred in productions such as Hair, Evita and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. For Sesame Street, the Dutch Sesame Street, he lent his voice various puppets.

As the winner of the Dutch preliminary decision, he took part in Harrogate at the Euro Vision Song Contest 1982. He landed with the pop song Jij en ik in 16th place

A great success for him was his starring role in the production of Cyrano: The Musical. Due to the resonance in his home, the play was performed on Broadway with him.
