Bilsen
Henbane is a municipality in the district of Pinneberg, in southern Schleswig-Holstein
Geography
The village is located about 14 kilometers north of Hamburg, directly at the main road through the village, the 4th Bilsener Bek flows

Municipal council
Of the nine seats in the municipal council, the CDU has been the local elections in 2013 six seats and voters Community BFB three seats.
Mayor
Since 22 November 2012, Peter Lehnert (CDU ) mayor. He succeeded to Rainer Ute Harms ( CDU ), who had resigned after 38.5 years during the current parliamentary term. For the election period 2013-2018 Peter Lehnert was re-elected mayor.

The lily cross represents Mary as patron of the monastery Harvestehude, belonged to the Bilsen. The red bar symbolizes the main road leading through the middle of this 4 Bilsen Road is the successor of the first built in Schleswig -Holstein Art Street. The oak leaf is the Bilsener Wahld. The oak is considered the typical tree of the former forest, in which the pigs were driven to acorns.
