Binary Symmetric Channel

A binary symmetric channel (BSC ) is an information-theoretic channel, in which the probability of a false transmission of 1 is as high as are the probability of the wrong transmission of a 0 That is, the probability that a 1 was received when a 0 was transmitted, is P ( 1 | 0 ) = P ( 0 | 1 ) = p. For the remaining cases, this resulted in P ( 1 | 1) = P (0 | 0) = 1-p
