Bingerville

Bingerville is a sub-prefecture in the district of Abidjan in the lagoon region in the Ivory Coast. The former market town was from 1900 to 1934 in the Grand- Bassam and Abidjan before capital of the Ivory Coast. Its name goes back to the French Governor Louis- Gustave Binger.

Geography

Bingerville located on the Ebrié Lagoon.

History

Here is next to Iwo Eleru in southern Nigeria, one of the major archaeological sites of West Africa, where surely already in the ogolischen era have lived modern people ( 25000-13000 years ago).

In addition to the official language in everyday life, especially Ebrié, the language spoken by the Ébriés.
