Biological Innovation for Open Society

Biological Innovation for Open Society (BIOS ) is an initiative to expand the open source concept to biological innovations. They started the initiative by the nonprofit research institute CAMBIA.

In early 2005 released the initiative, three new gene carriers under their license.
