Biotechnia Ellinikon Trikyklon

Biotechnia Ellinikon Trikyklon was a Greek manufacturer of automobiles. The brand name was BET.

Company History

Petros Konstantinou founded the company in Athens. First bikes were converted into three-wheeled commercial vehicles. In 1965, a three-wheeled passenger cars with front single wheel, but remained a one-off. On this basis, followed contemporary commercial vehicles. 1973 appeared again a passenger emerged from the task to production in 1975, 15 copies.

Commercial Vehicles

The first commercial vehicles consisted of the front of a motorcycle and a rear axle. Above the rear axle was a loading area. On a body or weather protection has been waived. The later commercial vehicles also had the single front wheel, but now possessed a full body.

Passenger cars

The prototype from 1965 had a closed body, which offered five people. For driving caused a motorcycle engine from BMW with 125 cc displacement. The production model 500 from the period 1973 to 1975 had a two-cylinder engine from the Fiat Nuova 500 with 500 cc displacement. A copy of this model still exists.
