Biotic component

Environmental factors are summarized as biotic to which organisms can be recognized. They arise from the interactions between species within an ecosystem.

In contrast, there are abiotic factors that represent inanimate interaction partners.

Interaction with two types (Bi systems)

In the coexistence of different species in the same area at least one of the ways they affect, usually. This influence can be an advantage or a disadvantage.

  • Antibiosis: Negative effect on at least one partner Competition (ecology ): negative for both sides, for the underdog more, for the dominator less
  • Parasitism: positive for the parasite negative for the host
  • Predator-prey relationship: positive for the robber, negative for the loot
  • Amensalismus: negative impact in a manner which has no effect on the other
  • Neutralism: No mutual interference
  • Probiose: No negative effect, but a positive effect on at least one partner in a biosystem Commensalism: advantage of one partner, no effect on the other
  • Symbiosis: living together for mutual benefit Mutualism: Facultative together for mutual benefit Host-guest relationship
  • Cooperation: about heterospecific herds
  • Intraspecific interactions Social behavior: behavior of individuals of a species to each other. e.g. working ants in the ant colony together to survive and to ensure the preservation of its kind
