Biryani

Biryani (also Birijani; Urdu: بریانی; Hindi: बिरयानी, Biryani ) is a rice dish. The name Biryani is derived from the Persian word Berya ( s) ( بریان ) and means " fried ", " roasted ". Regional and local variations of biryani can be found throughout the Middle East to Southeast Asia.

The main component is flavored rice, particularly basmati rice. To this are added seasoned and roasted meats such as lamb, mutton, chicken or beef. Also vegetarian variations are possible and occasionally to eat biryani with boiled chicken eggs. Typical also are onions, chillies and nuts, which one inflicts fried rice. The court can be further refined with raisins and other additives. Also popular are variants with yogurt, vegetables, or mango chutney. Meanwhile they finished special seasoning blends on the market.
