Biscayan dialect

The Biskayisch ( Basque: Bizkaiera ) is a dialect of the Basque language. Because it is not only spoken in Bizkaia, but also in some adjacent areas of Gipuzkoa and Álava, it is also called the Western dialect.

Biskayisch is the most common Basque dialect and at the same time next Suletinisch the one farthest from the standardized Basque ( Euskara Batua ) differs.
